The suspect made some vague threats about coming back with a gun. The suspect refused and became angry at the cashier (victim). The cashier provided a mask to the suspect and asked that he wear it. The suspect entered the restaurant without a mask. On 11-28-2021 at 1722 hours, an incident occurred at a Teriyaki restaurant. Medical Examiner also responded and took custody of the body. Traffic Collision Investigation Squad responded. Seattle fire responded and attempted lifesaving efforts for an extended period of time. ![]() A citizen who heard the crash found the driver unresponsive but breathing at first. His vehicle tire hit a curb, traveled sideways through a grassy area, clipped a couple of small trees, and finally came to rest. On 11-28-2021 at 0535 hours, a driver appeared to have had a medical emergency while traveling east on NE 75th St. Seattle Police provided traffic control while KCSO processed the scene. One suspect was located and taken into custody by KCSO. Seattle officers set up containment for a search including a K9 track and Guardian-1. The three suspects fled from the reported stolen vehicle in different directions. KCSO utilized a pursuit ending tactic which caused the vehicle to become disabled on Rainier Ave S. Officers from South, Southwest, East and West Precincts responded to the request. They further advised that the suspect vehicle was fleeing N/B on Renton Ave in South Seattle and were requesting Seattle Police assistance. On 11-28-2021 at 0345 hours, King County Sheriff’s Office reported that one of their deputies had been shot at in Skyway. Traffic Collision Investigation Squad screened this incident. Seattle Fire extricated driver from vehicle and transported her to Harborview Medical Center. There was only one occupant in the vehicle, and she sustained significant injuries to her legs. At that point an unknown male with dark clothing entered the Pet Pros, stole unknown items, and then fled on foot past the screaming driver. The vehicle continued through two fences before coming to a rest against the southern wall of the business to the north of the Pet Pros. At about 10300 Lake City Way, driver lost control and left roadway, sheering off a fire hydrant and taking out the front entrance of the Pet Pros. Vehicle had been traveling at high rate of speed northbound on Lake City Way NE. Upon arrival, officers located collision scene with woman screaming trapped in vehicle. Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell also released a statement saying he supports the investigation and found the displays “an alarming and unfortunate setback that is simply unacceptable as we work to build and repair trust” between the police department and the communities it serves.On 11-28-2021 at 0033 hours, reports of a burglary came out at 10322 Lake City Way Ne (Pet Pros). John O’Neil spoke to Fox 13 and said that no matter how the items got there, there is no question that they are inappropriate and “have no place in a City facility.” ![]() “We have no reason to believe it was placed as a ‘trophy’ or with any pejorative intent,” they added. The police department told the Seattle Times that it does “not know how that item ended up on storage shelving,” and that it has “confirmed it is no longer there.” The video of the room came to surface as part of a lawsuit challenging the city’s graffiti laws, according to KIRO 7. It is reportedly in possible violation of state law and department policy regulating officers’ involvement in partisan politics while on duty, the Seattle Times reported. The room was in the Seattle Police Department’s East Precinct where the flag and fake tombstone were filmed in 2021. ![]()
